If Your answer is 'Yes' - Allow me to celebrate you and say:
'Good for You and Good for all of us'!

If your answer is 'No' - Allow me to ask you: 'Why Not'?!

Did it not occur to you that it's possible...? Do you not believe
you can...? Do you not know how...?

Most people spend most of their waking hours - working!

Does it make any sense to you at all, to spend most of your
time doing something you don't love or enjoy?!

Moreover, Are you being impeccable with yourself, with the
person you work for and with everyone else involved?! And...
What about your purpose, are you fulfilling your soul's destiny?!

When I was in my early twenties, I happened to watch someone
I know, regret his life choices - this person did NOT follow his
passion because his spouse thought differently! This was a great
lesson for me, it helped me decide early on, to live the kind of life
that will hold No Regrets!

I didn't want to get to a point where I look back and feel like
I wasted my life. I wanted to live a life that is worth living,
regardless of what anyone thinks or says. After all, this is my
life and it's up to me to live it to it's fullest!

And you know what?

It's never too late to make this decision, as long as you
still have a breath in your lungs... Remember the person
I mentioned before? Well, later on in life, he went for his
passion and is living it! And what about his spouse? They
are still together....

Imagine what would it be like to live in a world where people
are passionate about the work that they do... Where people
get up in the morning, EXCITED about their day!

What would this world look like... What would it feel like to
live in it? And.. What kind of promise would it hold for our
future generations...?!

Imagine that you are one of these people...!
Imagine getting paid for what you love and enjoy...!
Imagine the righteousness and impeccability...!
Imagine the example you set for others...!
Imagine Your fulfillment and contribution...!
Imagine the rewards...!

So Where do you start?

You start by realizing your passions or at least one
of them: What do you love doing? what brings you joy?
What makes you feel alive? What causes you to loose
track of time? What gets you so involved that you
even forget about your own existence...?

Once you realize a passion of yours, contemplate ways
of turning it into abundance - You can turn any passion
into abundance and there are many ways of doing that.

You can start by taking a look at what others do - the
online world makes it easy today, just do a little search
on your topic, you will be amazed at the possibilities!

You can build an Internet business around your passion,
thousands of people are doing it successfully and so can
you (View Case-Studies Here).

And No, you don't have to go cold turkey and quit
everything today. Do it in a way and pace that
is right for you, but get started NOW, because Now
is the only existing moment!

When you work for the money and only for the money,
it can NEVER be Your Greatest Potential, even if it pays
really good(!) It can only be either a short term solution
or an un-fulfilling one. Don't you think Life is way too
precious to spend most of it in a state of mediocrity
and lack of fulfillment?

When you do something that you would enjoy doing
even without the pay, you are on the path to No-Regret,
Your own path to Greatness!

The only question left is: Will You, or Will You Not,
Choose to Live Your Passion and fill your days
with Joy and True Abundance?!...

Skyaak- Canada's Answer to the Frisbee.

What follows is another example of a Press Release ( published in the 'East Central Connection' on August 4, 2006. ECC has a circulation of about 100,000.) that was delivered to about 100,000 households last summer here in central Saskatchewan. In the days following this mini-triumph, we logged about 800 unique visitors to www.skyaak.com. I was very happy with the positive reception and this tells me that we have a story here with LEGS. I am totally confident that we can carry on creating steadily increasing momentum around this story and more important, I am sure that we can ratchet up the exposure to larger circulation newspapers and magazines. As previously mentioned, this process of 'growing' the popularity of the story must include the creation of a stunning Press Kit.

Skyaak- Canada's Answer to the Frisbee.

Skyaak is a unique new "Ring-Wing" flying toy invention. It was created by Manitou Beach artist/designer Michael Gaudet, who originally committed the idea to paper in 1987. The concept lay dormant for many years until Gaudet had the opportunity to concentrate on research and development within the past few years. As a full-time professional artist who specializes in large-scale historic murals, the artist has been able to set aside a modest R&D fund.

After he wrote the words to the poem "I Believe" in November 2005, seven ‘Angel Investors’ presented themselves to commit financial and moral support to the Skyaak project. The poem has since been produced as a CD Single that may be viewed at www.theahaexperience.com

Gaudet says, " ‘I Believe’ encourages faith in one’s pet ideas and is a call for action versus procrastination."

The Angel Investors have since propelled the project ahead with unstoppable momentum.

Over a period of only about two years, Gaudet was able to advance the working prototype from two cut-out margarine containers affixed to a drinking straw to laser-cut lexan plastic components in the case of the 14" version ‘Mykro-Skyaak’. The full-scale, athletic-quality Skyaak Model 3 boasts components manufactured with a computer-assisted router by Laser Impressions in Saskatoon. The 26" Model 3 is a fascinating new kind of ‘throw and catch’ glider that consists of two conical-shaped wings on an inner tubular shaft. The unlikely-looking flying toy exhibits exciting aerodynamic properties. A sturdy foam hand-grip near the center of the shaft provides a way for the device to be thrown and then caught in mid-air between partners.

The Skyaak project has enjoyed and benefited from some very high-profile support both nationally and internationally. The following people have taken the Skyaak project under their wing: Dr. Marc Garneau, former astronaut and president of the Canada Space Agency, communicated with the inventor over a couple of years and personally referred the project to the attention of Dr. David Simpson, head of the Institute for Aerospace Research at the National Research Council of Canada. Dr. Simpson wrote the inventor a very informative and encouraging letter of guidance and support. Zenon Dragan, president of the Saskatoon-based world-famous flying toy company DraganFly Innovations Inc. has been mentor to the project since its inception and has provided invaluable insights into prototype development and marketing. Minneapolis-based William Gurstelle, best-selling author of "Adventures from the Technology Underground" has built and flown both models and calls Skyaak "Incredibly cool!" and suggests that Skyaak is "Canada’s answer to the Frisbee". Patrizio Bronzi, Italian aircraft model-maker and designer, has expressed an interest in the Skyaak design and has written a technical paper in support of the project along with analytical diagrams that explore the aerodynamic properties of the unique ring-wing design. Dan Tyroler, Long Island, NY-based electronics engineer and inventor, is the founder of the popular inventor’s service www.Patents4Sale.com.

Mr. Tyroler has recently announced the creation of a new online inventor’s boutique called www.NewDaVincis.com The Skyaak product line has been invited to be included in the exclusive roster of new, innovative inventions on this site.

On June 30th, Gaudet and four fellow Skyaak-ers met up at the football field at Winston High School in Watrous where they were joined by RCMP Constable Brent Vandesype. Cst. Vandesype executed a radar speed check and announced that Gaudet had reached an air-speed of 43 km/hr and soon after 'locked in' the 'target' Skyaak thrown by Wayne Reiffersheid of Watrous at 41 km/hr. This event generated a lot of excitement and afterwards, Gaudet said," I was thrilled and honored that the RCMP threw their moral support behind the Skyaak project in this way. It means a lot to me."

This is a copy of the press release that was published in the 'Humboldt Journal' on April 13, 2006.
I am re-printing this article ( with permission from the paper) to build up some inertia around the idea that Skyaak ( and the connection to the CD Single 'I Believe' ) is indeed newsworthy, and that this is obviously only the rudimentary beginning. In my experience, the ONLY way to create a buzz around a new product, event or idea in terms of media coverage is to get press releases actually published and then go on to generate more momentum as the story develops. So we have done exactly this.

The next step will be to dream up more happenings around the project and to follow up with more P.R.

Local Scouts test out Skyaak invention

The 1st Westminster Scout Group had a special guest at their last meeting on March 22nd, 2006 Manitou Beach artist/inventor Michael Gaudet dropped in to make a presentation of his invention called 'Skyaak'. This is a unique new flying toy that features two conical-shaped wings on a 24" plastic shaft. This unusual design creates interesting aerodynamic properties. Gaudet told the story of how his invention was slowly developed over a period of a couple of years , and how he at one point felt discouraged. He explained to the group that he prayed for some kind of help and three days later it arrived in the form of a full-blown 12-stanza poem. The poem was written down in the wee hours of the morning and it seemed to pick up his spirits. Little did he realize that a musician friend of his would visit the following day and read what he had written. His friend, Manitou Beach musician Gene Angers, felt that the poem had a very positive message and that it ought to put to music. This is exactly what he did and within a few months the pair had taken the steps to have the words recorded as a song in the form of a CD single called ' I Believe'. They have also created a web-page to promote the project called www.theahaexperience.com

Gaudet went on to explain that the poem is a testament to belief in your ideas. He pointed out that shortly after the poem was written, seven people came forward and invested cash in his fledgling invention, as a very powerful and direct answer to his prayers. This amazing, true story really impressed the group, as it provided a concrete example of the power of prayer.

The inventor then read the poem and played the CD for the group. He then proceeded to show them the results of the fast-tracked research and development that had taken place in the interim with his 'Skyaak' invention. The product was shown both in its flat display box and a fully three-dimensional model. He demonstrated how the model is constructed ( without the hassle of adhesives!) and tossed it around with them to show how it performs in the air. The model is hand-launched between two partners, and creates its own lift due to the unique ' ring-wing' design. The participants were very impressed with how well it flew.

Then Gaudet unveiled his latest innovation. It is a miniature 14" version that comes in a compact plastic sleeve that he calls "Mykro-Skyaak'. He had several units with him that he constructed for the group to experiment with. He explained that the 'Skyaak' project represents for him the tangible results of self-belief, and he described the process of designing the flat wing that could be rolled and constructed into a 3-D ring. He likened the end result to watching an idea literally launch itself off the drafting table from a mere drawing into a high-performance flying toy as a powerful metaphor for persevering with one's ideas, and simply refusing to take 'no' for an answer.

The evening was topped off by the participants enjoying the physical activity of tossing several of the unique flying toys around between themselves. The Scout leaders got in on the fun too, as Gaudet pointed out that the model can be enjoyed by kids of all ages!

The inventor invited the group to visit his web-page at www.skyaak.com, where they would discover lots of background information. He also informed them that the larger model is available for purchase at Causeway Natural Health in Humboldt.

Just as Bailey and I set out on our ritual morning walk, I spotted an owl roosting in nearby Wellington Park here at Manitou Beach, SK. So naturally I sprinted back nome to grab my camera, hoping that the owl would still be there when I got back. S(he) was. But as soon as I took my 1st photos, it took off, revealing powerful wings that effortlessly carried both it and its meal, a waxwing-sized bird. I managed to fire off a couple of more shots once it had landed on a slightly higher bough. It glared at me for bothering it.



This is the 3rd owl I have seen up close enough to phototgraph in the past year. I was twice lucky to get pictures of this one, and thrice blessed to see three different owls on separate occasions.

Saskatchewan artist/educator Michael R. Gaudet is developing a unique new approach to inspire creativity. His technique involves several related methods that are designed to stimulate and encourage creativity through a powerful ' multi-sensory' experience-based workshop.

The presentation starts with Michael's own story of persistence and determination to breathe life into a very ambitious undertaking to design and create, of all things, an advanced aeronautical configuration that actually flies.

Michael relates the story of how he nearly died of kidney failure when he was 19 so he now, 27 years later, cherishes every day. His personal motto is: " Cherish the Precious Present ".

The arc of advancement of this project has been remarkable since Michael realized about a year ago that he simply lacked the resources to take further actions that would launch his idea off the drafting table. In a moment of surrender, he cried out to the universe for help. Three days later he awoke from a sound sleep and roused himself to sit in front of his keyboard to write a twelve stanza poem. The words flowed effortlessly and after he reread what he'd written he felt a deep sense of encouragement. At that moment he had no further expectations of this writing. It simply picked up his flagging spirits and for that he was grateful.

THE POEM IS READ NOW.

A good musician friend of his dropped over and read the poem. A melody began to instantly write itself in his mind and he determined that he would put the words to music. Very soon after this, the thing took on a whole new meaning and was elevated to a professional recording that would be dubbed ' I Believe' . This performance has been very well received as an inspirational tool. As evidence of the amazing power of the simple message, within only three weeks of its creation, seven unsolicited individuals stepped forward to invest their moral, technical and financial assistance to the rapid advancement of the aeronautical design!

THE CD IS PLAYED NOW.

Pam Mood, a Family Studies Coordinator from Nova Scotia participated in a recent conference in N.S. as the key-note speaker. In an excerpt from a letter, Pam describes her reaction to the conference and the words and music of ' I Believe ' :

"...It truly is powerful, and something that perhaps should be implemented into a school program - line by line - thought by thought. We don't get the kids to think like that enough. They get fed information and that's the end of it. If they had time, REAL time, to focus on each line of his work, they would be changed from the inside out."

By now Michael had realized that it would be very cost-prohibitive to proceed with a 3-dimensional manufactured wing, so he decided that he must create a flat version that could be assembled into a 3-D wing without glue. This design was worked out and taken to a high-tech plastics manufacturer in Saskatoon. The drawing was translated into a ' vectorized computer file' ; in other words, all of the lines were plotted on a vector field that allowed the file to be used to operate a computer-assisted laser that accurately cut out the design out of thin plastic sheet. Skyaak was born!

This technological breakthrough permitted the project to be fast-tracked and the result one year later is a high-performance professional quality flying apparatus that has enjoyed a reception at the Canada Space Agency. In 2005, CSA President ,Marc Garneau, has personally received an early working prototype. In 2006, Dr.Virendra Jah, CSA Acting President, has received sample advanced prototypes and has acknowledged same. Just for fun, I googled ‘Ring Wing Flying Toy’. Click here to see what I came up with.

Not bad, eh? Let’s see, that’s #2 and #3 positions out of 1,070,000 listings. Must bump off that 1st entry. Just kidding.

When I add a hyphen to get 'ring-wing flying toy', there are only 363 matches, but Skyaak pops up in # 1, 2, 3 and 4 positions on Google. This subtle difference yields this direct links to this blog.

Then I googled 'Michael R. Gaudet'. Not surprisingly, I dominate here, with rankings of #1, #2 and #4 out of 234,000 listings.

When I google 'Skyaak', there are only 1370 matches found, but ( no-brainer here) Skyaak is of course dominent throughout. The 1st match is www.skyaak.com, and the rest of page #1 is all Skyaak stuff. And so on. I would like to see that number soar to over a million within a year.

And then there's ' the aha experience' . This is really cool. Click here to see that www.theahaexperience.com is ranked #1 by Google out of a rather staggering 1,230,000 matches.

Now THAT's pretty special.

Just for fun, I tried typing in ' video of ring wing flying toy' into Google. We got #1 and #2 ranking out of 925,000 matches here. I guess there's something to be said for 'long tail' SEO.

How about ' the aha experience cd single' ? Google gives us #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 rankings out of 644,000 matches, as you will see here.

It is really cool to see that all of my marketing is starting to pay off in terms of search engine rankings. After all, folks, this stuff doesn't just happen all by itself! I have been seriously plugging away at this now for going on two years...that is, the internet marketing end of it.

Let's see what we get on another search engine. How about Yahoo?

OK. Click here to discover that 'Ring Wing flying toy' yields a #4 listing of 327,000 matches.

Click here to see that ' the aha experience' yields an eye-popping #1 listing out of 1,890,000 matches on Yahoo! That's impressive. Gee, this is fun.

'Michael R. Gaudet' coughs up 122,000 matches. You will see here that #1,2,3,4,5, skip one, 7 and 8 refer to yours truly. There REALLY IS something to be said for SEO!

Let's try MSN. When I typed in ' the aha experience', this is what I found. The CDBaby site that hosts the 'I Believe' CD Single ranks #1 out of 502, 357 matches. That is good.

'Ring Wing Flying Toy' gives us this. Skyaak pops up # 4 and #7 out of 117,381 matches. I can see we need some more focus there.

On MSN, 'Michael R. Gaudet' produces this. After the first selection of 'people-finder' ads, we come up at #1,2,3,4 and then #6 and #7 matches out of 37, 015 matches. I guess that's pretty good.

'Skyaak' yields a scanty 220 results on MSN. Obviously, this whole process is only in its infancy, but by the same token, it's important to realize and appreciate that everyone has to start somewhere.

What's the whole point of this discussion, besides an exercise in shameless self-promotion, you ask? The point is, and I can't emphasize this enough, that it IS possible to stand out on the internet. You do NOT have to perceive it ( marketing, or establishing a presence online) as trying to find a needle in a haystack, or futile. Sure, it takes a lot of focus and effort, but let me assure you, it is well worth the time once you start getting positive results.

The ONLY way to stimulate interest in your online product and/or service is to have a solid grasp of SEO and networking through, for example, posting on forums and publishing articles in your area of expertise. You simply have to wrap your head around that salient fact.

In my case, I am also making serious progress with nurturing many important personal contacts in the fields that compliment my global business plan that is steadily unfolding as we speak.

In addition, I am in the process of creating Press Kits that will be delivered to media outlets over the next couple of months by surface mail. This is yet another critical link in the promotion chain that any business must forge in order to become visible in the great big world out there.
Good old-fashioned Press Kits must not be overlooked as a really important component of any business plan.

Ranked #1 on Google Search Engine

About three weeks ago I noticed with pleasure that the Google Search Engine rankings for ‘www.theAha Experience.com’ had climbed from about relative obscurity to fourth place out of over 1,000,000 results! Imagine our excitement. I made a point of contacting the guy in the first place ranking, ( Social Engineer Kurt Larsson ) and got a gracious response back from him. A good connection was made.

Just a couple of days ago I took a look and realized that now, when you type “the aha experience” into your Google search engine, our web-page that features the CD Single ‘I Believe’, comes up as the FIRST RESULT of about 1,230,000. For me, that was a moment of sublime excitement. Gotta share this milestone moment with you!


Here’s the Google rank for "aha experience". Is is still #1?

Seeing as how I have now dedicated myself to utilizing the CD Single as a substantial fund-raising mechanism this year, I think this it is very timely that the web-page is now ranked...wait for it...
#1 out of 1,230,000 listings. That's one million, two-hundred and thirty thousand! You just can't argue with that kind of success! I would propose that this fact is yet another example of the
Law of Attraction in action!

NOW, the challenge is to put all of the pieces of the puzzle together to carry out this phase of the Master Plan.

I read a little while back that a great way to build a loyal customer base is to offer everyone something of amazing value and benefit for a very low cost, or free. The hope would be that once your customer has experienced the quality and integrity of your initial offering, then they will naturally want to opt in for more products and/or services. It's a question of the initial exposure being very positive and unforgettable. A 'life-changing experience', perhaps?

My belief has never wavered for a moment that the message in the words and music of
'I Believe' are a GIFT that we are compelled to share with as many people as possible. Now that the CD Single is available on CDBaby, and will soon be available as an MP3 download, this dream is about to be realized on a global scale.

I also want to share with you the fact that we are making very substantial connections with some amazing people in the 'Positive Affirmation' field as well as in the recording/engineering business that are expressing a powerful committment to getting involved in the promotion and exposure of this element of the project.

I am so grateful for their continued enthusiasm and support for the I Believe/Skyaak project. It really is time to launch the agenda onto the world stage through the concerted efforts of the latest generation of working 'Angel Investors' who once again are appearing out of thin air when they are needed the most.

First Painting of 2007

The Owl has long been regarded as a good luck omen and a symbol of wisdom.

Think the 'Owl-ish Professor'.

So I thought it would be highly appropriate if I was to paint a picture of this little fellow that dropped in for a three-day visit last spring. He's a Northern Saw Whet, measuring only about seven inches from head to foot. He is a tenacious little guy, though. He stood his ground on his perch outside our big picture window and fought off all comers, including some pesky blue-jays and even a magpie.

He posesd very compliantly for me to take quite a few wonderful close-up photos. I knew right then and there that he would make a great subject for a portrait.

Is it not also said that one's activities on and about the cusp of the New Year sort of casts the mold for the coming twelve months? With this in mind, I was only too happy to weave this painting into my schedule. I'm just so grateful that I have enough flexibility in my day to do something like this that is strictly creative. Very good for the soul.

This is a work in progress. I will pick away at finishing it over the next little while.

I was joking around with my buddy Gene yesterday and we decided that 2006 was the “Year of the Mini-Van”, because that’s when we both graduated from relatively beat off vehicles to late model mini-vans. I know that the vehicle a guy drives is fairly superficial in the ‘big picture’, but let me tell you, it is a real confidence-booster to pull up to a business meeting in a snazzy, ultra-modern vehicle. Or a social event. You get the idea...

That aside, I decided on the spot that 2007 will be the “Year of the DREAM TEAM”. I’ve been thinking and reading about this a LOT lately, and obviously have taken major steps in this direction already.

I have gotten my hands on the great book by Robert G. Allen (multi-millionaire best-selling author of Nothing Down) and Mark Victor Hansen (co-author of
Chicken Soup for the Soul, and fellow multi-millionaire) called
The ONE MINUTE MILLIONAIRE.

Wow.

What a great book. I devoured it in 3 evenings.

This is fascinating stuff:

“An enlightened millionaire is a person who always strives to be the best they can be, who knows no boundaries, and knows that there can be abundance for all. They know that creativity is unlimited. That the application of creativity to everyday needs is the basis of providing value, which in turn creates wealth. They live in balance. Their life is a life devoted to living and sharing abundance through service that allows them to give their unique gifts--for the benefit of themselves, their families, their communities and the world.”

I am particularly attracted to the concept of BENEFIT for myself, my family, my community and my world. For me, that is a real motivator. Who wouldn’t just love to leave a rich, powerful legacy to their family, community and the whole world as a result of their creativity and applied effort during a very fruitful lifetime? Think about it and put yourself in that position. Will the world be a better place because of YOUR amazing contribution? It certainly can be, but only if you step up to make it so!

Let it be known that I will be taking steps in the early days of 2007 to consolidate a functioning DREAM TEAM to forward the agenda of creating massive amounts of wealth for every member, while creating a stream of thoughtfully applied financing to charitable groups and/or causes that we all deem to be most pressing.

Work Types - Revealed!!!

According to research done by Marie West and Allen Fahden, there are four categories into which most project-related work can be broken into.

Solutions - the brainstorming category; coming up with multiple ideas from different angles with options for potential problem solving and ways to snap opportunities

Strategies - the prioritizing category; choosing high priority options and creating a workable action plan

Analysis - discerning whether a solution is effective, and pointing out potential flaws in the plan

Results - changing the action plan into a step by step process which can be executed with ease

There are four types of worker which correlate with these four types of work.

Hare - These are the creative workers; they’re full of ideas, but they get easily bored once their ideas have been thought through. These are the workers who tend to lack in follow-through.

Owl - These are the strategists; they are the ones organizing, planning and making the connections needed to get the steps needed to launch an idea off the ground.

Turtle - These are the analysts; they have the skills to find flaws in the plan, and tend to avoid risk taking. The old saying applies to these workers, “Slow and steady...”

Squirrel - These are the workers who will execute the plan of action; they have an eye for detail, and are usually great with logistics. Give them a plan to follow, and you’ll be pleased with the results.

The ideal work team has at least one of each of these types, and usually each worker is predominantly one type or another. If working in a team of two, it is best to pair a Hare/Owl with a Turtle/Squirrel, or a Hare/Turtle with a Owl/Squirrel. If this is matched accurately, the efficiency will be maximized, if not, you will be sadly lacking in one area needed to succeed.
